Just over two hours outside of Durban city central, the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve is a wildlife oasis that’s home to thousands of free roaming animals, including the famous Big Five: lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo. As well as an incredible game drive through the park, enjoy lunch at the Hilltop Crest, which overlooks a bustling waterhole.

Arrival at Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Game Reserve

After an early start, travel north through Zululand to the Hluhluwe Game Reserve, one of South Africa’s prized game reserves. Upon arrival, enjoy light refreshments and a short safety briefing.

Game drive

Enjoy an amazing game drive through the reserve for epic viewing opportunities of the Big Five, as well as an abundance of other game life and bird species. During the game drive, enjoy lunch at Hilltop Camp, overlooking a popular waterhole. An optional open safari vehicle game drive is available at a surcharge.
