Drakensberg Mountain Range
Travel to the epic Drakensberg Mountain Range and enjoy exploring and learning about this beautiful world heritage site. View Giant’s Castle, a particularly significant rocky outcrop, and delight in a leisurely, guided 3km hike to view a number of immaculately preserved Bushman rock art paintings in a cave. After leaving the Drakensberg Mountains, return to Durban via the beautiful Midlands Meander Route and view the many craft and farmers markets on display. En route to Durban, enjoy a stop over at the Nelson Mandela Capture site, one of South Africa’s many destinations of particular significance that commemorates Nelson Mandela’s heroic struggle in the face of apartheid.
