Zarafa Camp

Linyanti, Botswana

About Zarafa Camp

Situated in the private 130,000 hectare Linyanti Selinda Reserve, Zarafa Camp is an intimate bush getaway hidden in northern Botswana.

Boasting a perfect location, a stay at Zarafa Camp promises a world of wildlife viewing opportunities. A range of exquisite activities have been designed to bring guests closer to nature. From safari game drives to guided walking safaris, guests will have the opportunity to see the famed Big Five and other formidable game life, as well as more uncommon creatures such as the African wild dog, roan, sable and more.

As the camp overlooks the banks of the Zibadianja Lagoon, the source of the famed Savute Channel, guests can enjoy ample game viewing opportunities right from the lodge, seeing the water source draw a flurry of varied game species all year round.

Designed for ultimate privacy, each of the 1,000 square foot, three bedroom luxury tents are widely dispersed offering true privacy from their neighbours. Each tent includes an outdoor lounge, a private plunge pool, and boasts views of the Zibadianja Lagoon. Children over the age of eight years old are welcome at Zarafa Camp.

Why We Love Zarafa Camp

  • Deemed one of the greenest of Botswana’s safari camps, Zarafa Camp uses recycled hardwoods and canvas used for structures, solar panels for electricity and ‘biogas’ from plants used for cooking.
  • Each tent includes a Canon 5D with 35 -135 mm and 100 – 400 mm lenses for guests to use during their stay. Photos are added to a disc and are given to guests as souvenirs.
  • Guests can request to book photographic equipment prior to their arrival. This is great for those that either do not have top of the line equipment or who don’t want to travel with it.
