From there, a private shuttle takes you down a beautifully twisted road that descends into a hidden paradise.

An island getaway in Cape Town

Tintswalo Atlantic has ten elegantly styled luxury suites called Island Suites. For bigger groups such as families and generational travellers, there is a spacious unit comprising of two Island Suites connected by an opulent common living area. This is a very special experience for families or a close group of friends who want to experience a private and exclusive refuge. 

Every suite is individually designed and inspired by some of the most beautiful islands around the world. From Robben Island and Zanzibar, to Java, Mozambique and Seychelles, each suite is like your own slice of island paradise. 

Glass doors open to a private balcony offering panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Sentinel mountain peak, while natural light floods the space. Each suite comes complete with a wood-burning fireplace, armchairs and luxurious finishings. The spacious en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower and a Victorian bathtub with natural and eco-friendly Africology toiletries.

Dining at Tintswalo Atlantic 

Meals at Tintswalo is served on the wooden deck which looks out on the horizon of the Atlantic Ocean. The picturesque setting is the perfect environment to delight in a delicious breakfast buffet or three-course meal. 

Tintswalo Atlantic pays particular attention to each guest’s dietary requirements. The kitchen team creates wholesome and beautifully presented cuisine, complemented by an award-winning wine list. Sourcing fresh and local ingredients, the menu features fresh seafood and meat dishes, as well as vegan and vegetarian options. 

The interactive open-plan kitchen offers guests the opportunity to discuss cooking techniques with the head chef or watch the kitchen team prepare meals with finesse.
