Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Ellerman House, Cape Town

The perfect introduction to the city of Cape Town, the day kicks off with a Table Mountain and Cape Town City Tour. Explore the best attractions in the city centre, including a visit to the beautiful Company’s Garden, the historical sites of the Castle of Good Hope, the Iziko South African Museum and the Bo-Kaap district, all the while learning about the great significance of the respective points of interest. Weather permitting, enjoy a trip to the top of Table Mountain via the cable car to enjoy the incredible views from the top, then, after the descent, enjoy time at leisure to explore the world-famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

Day 2: Ellerman House, Cape Town

Travel along Cape Town’s coastal mountain passes from Clifton though Chapman’s Peak and into Hout Bay. Here, embark on an optional boat ride to view a seal colony on Duiker Island. Next, travel to the Table Mountain National Park, Cape of Good Hope section to explore the fascinating Cape Point heritage site, followed by a trip to Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town to visit a colony of African jackass penguins. As a jam-packed, fun-filled day draws to a close, travellers can choose between one of two final excursions; leisure time in the esteemed Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens or a wine tasting experience and cellar tour at the oldest wine estate in South Africa, Groot Constantia.

Day 3: Le Quartier Français, Cape Winelands

After a wonderful breakfast, check out of Ellerman House and travel to the wonderful Cape Winelands region. Travel through the spectacular mountain scenery and lush fertile valleys to visit a selection of wine estates in the three main wine routes of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. Here, enjoy a variety of wine tastings, cellars tours, vineyard tours and delicious meals throughout the day. With full bellies, arrive at Le Quartier Français for an overnight.

Day 4: Le Quartier Français, Cape Winelands

After three full days of exploring the Cape, enjoy a day at leisure to relax, rest and rejuvenate. As Le Quartier Français is situated just a stone’s throw from the high street, explore the wonderful town of Franschhoek by foot, enjoying visits to wine farms, incredible lunches at world-renowned restaurants, shopping at boutique stores, spa treatments at Le Quartier Français and more.

Day 5

Following breakfast, transfer to Cape Town International Airport for outbound journey.
