Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: De Denne Country Guest House, Oudtshoorn

Depart from Cape Town and travel along the popular Route 62, viewing small but noteworthy towns en route, such as Worcester, Montagu and Calitzdorp. After arriving in Oudtshoorn, enjoy a fascinating tour of the Cango Caves as well as a visit to the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Finally, travel to De Denne Country Guest House. (D)

Day 2: St James Boutique Hotel of Knysna, Knysna

Following breakfast, enjoy a lovely tour of the Highgate Ostrich farm right next door to De Denne Country Guest House. Here, travellers will learn plenty of incredible information about ostriches, their breeding habits and much more. Once the tour of the ostrich farm is complete, travel along the scenic Outeniqua Pass to George and visit Botlierskop Private Game Reserve near Mossel Bay for lunch and a three-hour game drive. Day 3: St James Boutique Hotel of Knysna, Knysna

Enjoy exploring the wonderful seaside village of Knysna as well as its neighbouring towns including Plettenberg Bay and Nature’s Valley. After visiting a collection of the best points of interest on the Garden Route, enjoy a leisurely sunset cruise along the Knysna Lagoon. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Cape Town

After breakfast, depart Knysna for Cape Town, driving along the coast and passing popular towns including Mossel Bay and Swellendam along the way. (B)
