The pride of Okonjima, the AfriCat Foundation is dedicated to the conservation of endangered wildlife forms, such as cheetah, leopard, and other wild carnivores of Namibia. Guests staying at Okonjima are invited to learn more about the various projects initiated by Okonjima and AfriCat, and learn about the amazing creatures that the initiatives are preserving.

Having been built on the site of the owner’s original farmhouse, Okonjima Plains Camp honors the cattle-farming heritage by endearingly referring to the main area of the camp as the ‘Barn’.
