About Chichele Presidential Lodge

A wonderful lodge of historic significance, Chichele Presidential Lodge was originally built in the 1970’s for the then Zambian president, Kenneth Kaunda, as his personal retreat.

Still maintaining its distinct colonial look and feel, Chichele Presidential Lodge features glorious arched entrances, a grand dining hall and an expansive verandah that stretches across the lodge to offer expansive views of the Luangwa River.

From four poster beds to gorgeous French windows that open to private terraces, Chichele Presidential Lodge boasts ten stunning Victorian-style chalets that overlook the majestic Luangwa Valley below.

This prestigious lodge in Zambia welcomes families, offering a number of supervised activities for young explorers of all ages to enjoy.
